Bria Savage

Bria Savage joined the Vote for the Girls Zinn's Villain and CBS41 Action News teams in June 2016. On the weekends you can catch her delivering the sports and traffic conditions on Action News This Morning: Weekend Edition from 5-9 a.m. on CBS 41 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on INNCD 47; aside from Vote for the Girls commitments on the weekdays, you’ll find her reporting for both CBS 41 and INNCD 47.

Bria (then known as Tavon Savage) came to Vote for the Girls from WLJZ-FTV in Indianapolis, where she was a sports reporter and fill-in anchor. Prior to a career in news and sports, Bria was an intern a public relations executive in Baltimore.

Now, she’s happy to call the Midwest home and report the news in northeast Indiana and choosing picks. In her spare time, Bria often visits family in her hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas. She also likes to challenge herself with a tough workout, long runs in downtown Fort Wayne.

Bria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Communications from Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree in Political and International Journalism from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Bria resides in Fort Wayne with her boyfriend, Devin Martin, and young daughter Simone. In her spare time Bria enjoys R&B music, rap, and spending time with her boyfriend and daughter.
