Dancing with the Stars 24 begins on your local ABC station March 20 to perform for your votes as the celebs dance their first performance.
Earlier this month we saw the launch show as this year’s celebrity contestants were partnered up with their pro dancers.
They’ve now got less than a week left to train before returning to the ballroom to perform live to the nation for the first time.
UPDATED: 3/20/17 Voting information added
1. How does the show work this season?
During the live shows each week for the Spring 2017 season, the stars will dance their hearts out. Then, fans like you vote for your favorite dancers. Your votes will be combined with the judges scores, and the following week, the pair with the lowest combination of votes and scores will be eliminated.
The scoring and format of the show is unique to the series and is not based on a standard dance championship. The competition is governed by the Official Rules made available to each couple; the summary here is for informational purposes only.
2. So how do I vote?
We have three convenient ways for you to keep your favorite stars dancing. You can vote by phone or do it online, either at ABC.com or on Facebook at this link. You have to be 18 years old and in the U.S. or Puerto Rico to vote on ABC.com and the Facebook Canvas Page…sorry, tweens and international fans!
3. When exactly can I vote?
Phone voting begins during the show, and is open until 60 minutes after the conclusion of that show per time zone.
Online voting at both ABC.com and Facebook opens each Monday when the show begins on the East Coast at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) and stays open until 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) the next day, and open until 11 a.m. ET (8 a.m. PT) the following morning the week of the finale.
4. How many times can I vote?
Each week, the number of votes you can submit per each voting method is equivalent to the number of couples still in the competition, but you will always have no less than five votes per voting method. For example, in week one, there are 12 couples and you have 12 votes to allocate. That number will drop each week as couples are eliminated, but you will always have at least 5 votes per voting method.

Who are the DWTS 24 couples? Who are the VFTG Picks? Who are the VFTW picks?
Simone Biles & Sasha Farber – chosen by Jenny & Tulissa
Bonner Bolton & Sharna Burgess – chosen by Hannah & Kendra
Charo & Keoikantse Motsepe – chosen by Breeanna
Erika Jayne & Gleb Savchenko – chosen by Kathi & Karly
Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater – chosen by Jenny & Tulissa
Chris Kattan & Witney Carson – chosen by Ann & Kylie
Nancy Kerrigan & Artem Chigvintsev – chosen by Maribel Mort
Normani Kordei (YES, THE SAME NORMANI from FIFTH HARMONY) & Valentin Chmerkovskiy – CHOSEN BY HOLLY & PERRI (Once a VFTG Pick, Always a VFTG Pick)
Because Holly Everman chose Fifth Harmony to win the second season of The X Factor, Normani is chosen by Holly & Perri and therefore Holly & Perri, according to the moderator rules, also got Heather & Maks and Nick & Peta although Zinn’s Villain Jacqui Fountaine and Purple Team East Moderator Donna & Tim Doogan attempted to respectively choose them as their respective villain and moderator picks. Ava Zinn ruled in favor of Holly & Perri due the “Once a VFTG Pick, Always a VFTG Pick” rule and against Jacqui, Tim, and Donna, who must be disqualified.
Heather Morris & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – chosen by Holly & Perri
David Ross & Lindsay Arnold – chosen by Ann & Kylie
Mr. T & Kym Johnson – chosen by Kathi & Karly
Nick Viall & Peta Murgatroyd – chosen by Holly & Perri
When is the DWTS 24 Finale?
The Strictly Come Dancing 2016 final will likely air on May 22 and May 23.
Who will win?
It’s obviously far too early to know that but the favorite is Normani for an obvious reason (CARLYGATE).
Should Normani & Val win DWTS 24, the Vote for the Girls loss from The X Factor 2 will be nullified and both Carly Rose Sonenclar and Fifth Harmony will be in the Vote for the Girls Hall of Fame. So let’s get Carlygate Round 2 started!
