The new television season is coming up in both America and Great Britain.
This season marks a number of firsts: Among them is that it is the first without Dave Della Terza’s Vote for the Worst. A few have said this should give VFTG a huge advantage. It will also be the first time a third, maybe a fourth VFTG Victory is at stake. Unlike the previous four seasons, VFTG 2014 will be the first season to open up in Indianapolis. The reason for this is that VFTG webmaster, Ava Zinn, won four tickets to the Indiana State Fair. Sine June 1, 2013, am new Vote for the Girls theme performed by Samantha Jade, winner of The X Factor 4 Australia, What You’ve Done to Me theme became the primary theme on Vote for the Girls (both US and UK versions). It was first implemented on the 12th season of American Idol beginning with the March 14, 2013 episode and then was implemented on the 4th season of The Voice, and for the UK Version when the VFTGUK pilot aired (with the instrumental version) on June 1, 2013. As a result of Vote for the Girls using What You’ve Done to Me, there has been some backlash from fans who preferred to hear the previous theme that VFTG used from 2010-2013, Sugababes’ Here Come the Girls, which is now used sparingly and considered to be used as a secondary theme.
The opening sequence of VFTG 2014, begins with the iconic “Indianapolis Welcomes You” sign when entering Indianapolis, which morphs to “VOTE FOR THE GIRLS WELCOMES YOU”. This is followed by a scene outside Lucas Oil Stadium, featuring the interior of Lucas Oil Stadium, montages of Melanie Amaro, Danielle Bradbery, Candice Glover, and Cassadee Pope, with Ava Zinn appearing at the end. This is similar to a typical Hell’s Kitchen opening sequence.
Ava Zinn’s turning up the heat and raising the stakes for the fifth season of Vote for the Girls. She’s pushing Americans even harder than in years past to ensure more ladies win the third season of The X Factor, the 13th season of American Idol, and the respective fifth and sixth seasons of The Voice.
Vote for the Girls webmaster Ava Zinn beefs up the fifth season of VFTG. America will brave Zinn and her fiery command of the voting periods as she once again puts the country through an intense academy to eliminate all the male contestants to ensure a woman wins reality-based singing competitions.
Alongside VFTG Webmaster Ava Zinn, Holly Everman will return for VFTG 2014. However, the third VFTG moderator, Michelle Steele, is not returning and will be replaced by Ariel Swarigen.
